The Washoe Native TANF Program helps eligible Native families create greater financial stability and pursue their goals. Through a range of services, families can receive monthly cash assistance, help with childcare and gas, and support with unexpected expenses such as vehicle repairs.

We also help parents invest in their future through education assistance, GED and vocational training, and career support. Families may receive assistance with children's extracurricular activities and school clothing, along with access to youth after-school activities and family events hosted by our program.

Our Grass Valley office is here to help Native families explore available services and find support that fits their needs.
